Mark Bragaw

I’m Mark Bragaw, the son of an Air Force Colonel and a High School English teacher, who moved to Northern Virginia in 1976 at the age of 4. I grew up in Falls Church, graduating from Falls Church High School. I married Carey in 1993 and moved to Oakton, Virginia, eventually settling in Vienna, Virginia.
I am a “girl-dad” of 3 daughters: Lauren, Lindsay and Leah. My hobbies include playing soccer, racquetball, golfing, and piano. I have been coaching soccer for Vienna Youth Soccer since 2006 and had the joy of coaching 2 of my 3 daughters’ soccer teams. I am involved as an assistant coach training the girls travel team goalkeepers.
I started in the mortgage industry in 2004, coming from a previous career in restaurant management. I have brought this foundation of serving others to my mortgage career and is the core philosophy of my team. Our greatest strength is the time and attention we spend on educating, advising, advocating for our clients and strategic partners.

Together along with our amazing team we will help guide you through each step of the loan process starting with your initial consultation. I am committed to providing support to our borrowers during this exciting time and it’s my goal to ensure a smooth process for everyone involved. Once your application has been completed it is my responsibility to collect, and review supporting documents, initiate communication with the Realtor and Title company and prepare your file for Processing. We work hard to make sure that our borrowers close on time and experience a smooth loan process. Mark and I grew up and reside in Northern Virginia and have three grown daughters.

I have a passion for customer service and extensive backgrounds in the hospitality industry, such as event management, sales, marketing, and customer service, which helped me gain excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills. My primary job is to provide excellent customer service to our clients and our realtor partners. I’m dedicated to turning your dream into a reality. I’m happily married and a mother of two amazing kids. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, reading, and spending time with my family.

I have worked together with Mark and the team for the last 12+ years to ensure smooth and on-time closings. After a ratified sales contract is received and you, and Mark determine your mortgage strategy, I will be actively involved in keeping all parties informed of the loan progress throughout the transaction. I am the liaison between the Processing, Underwriting, and Closing Teams. I have many years of experience in managing loans through each step of the process, and I focus my time on communicating directly with you and your real estate agent to ensure a smooth and on-time closing. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, playing golf, and rooting for DC sports teams.
